Civil Staff Engineer:

To work on a variety of design projects in many aspects of the firm’s activities, and to assist experienced project managers.  The candidate must have a degree in civil engineering from an accredited college, and have good technical and communication skills.  Two years related experience in land development design is preferred.  Relevant design experience includes:

 

·        Sewer and septic systems

·        Drainage and detention systems

·        Grading and site layout

·        Cost estimating

·        Specifications

 

 

Civil/Traffic Engineer:

This position specializes in the traffic aspects of the projects, including the preparation of traffic impact studies for real estate development projects.  You will observe and inventory predevelopment traffic conditions, determine the change in traffic caused by the project, and develop options to mitigate this traffic impact.  You will also be involved in the design of roads, roadway improvements, traffic signals and the traffic aspects of site plans.  The candidate should have two years related experience and good writing skills.

 

 

Civil/Structural Engineer:

The primary responsibility is to design low-rise commercial buildings in steel, masonry and wood.  You will also be designing civil structures such as culvert and retaining walls.  There is always an opportunity to assist the civil department with site plan design.  This is an ideal position for an individual that enjoys a variety of work assignments.  Two years related experience in structural design is required.

 

 

CADD Draftsperson/Designer:

This position is for an individual with experience in AutoCAD 14 or 2000.  Individual will work closely with project engineers on a variety of projects.  Experience with site and/or subdivision plans, other design experience or Land Development Desktop a plus.

 

 

Land Planner or Land Designer:

To plan, design and administer commercial/residential land planning projects.  Prepare site plans with grading, landscape design, drainage, ground contours, etc.  Experience with AutoCAD, LDD, 3D Viz, Lite Pro is necessary.  Must have bachelor’s degree in Planning/Architecture with min. 2 years experience.  40hrs/wk, FT, $57,000.

 

 

Architectural Designer:

To plan, design, and administer building and existing building conversion projects. Must have knowledge of site engineering practices and zoning and building codes. Responsible for project co-ordination with all building trades. Must have Masters Degree in Architecture, exp. with AutoCAD and 2 yrs. exp. in industrial and commercial designing. 40 hrs/wk.
